Dallas Wedding Venue
Before your wedding day at our Dallas Wedding Venue, you have to get through your rehearsal dinner! Here are all of the tips and tricks to make sure that your rehearsal dinner is as smooth and relaxing as possible for you.
First and foremost, decide who is hosting right off the bat! You don’t want there to be confusion down the line on who is actually hosting. Traditionally, since the bride’s parents pay for the wedding, then the groom’s parents pay for the rehearsal dinner. Times have changed, though, so who pays for what is up to you! For example, if your parents are splitting the cost of the wedding, consider paying for and hosting the rehearsal dinner as a couple.
Pick a good location! Whether you want to have your rehearsal at your wedding venue or another cool and hip local place, choose a place that you love! You will feel more comfortable and at home this way. Sometimes that might even mean having it in your parent’s backyard if they have a large enough yard and other times that means going to the up and coming co-working space for your rehearsal. Know the vibe that you want and follow that to find a venue!
Allow your guests to speak! Not everyone will get a chance to give a speech on your big day, so allowing some time to pass microphones around to those people during your rehearsal dinner is the perfect time to hear what they have to say! You will feel incredibly loved (and maybe even a little burned!) by your close relatives and friends memorable and embarrassing stories.
