DFW Barn Wedding
Are you planning your DFW barn wedding and getting closer and closer to your budget line but you’re not sure where to cut costs? We have some tips for you on how to do just that without compromising your dream wedding (Yes, that’s possible)! Keep reading to find out how you can save money and still have your perfect wedding.
- Have a smaller wedding in your guest count. Not inviting people you don’t actually want at your wedding will end up saving a lot of money. Through things that you have to buy, rent, and even catering, costs will be cut and money will be saved. Less people equals more money to spread out over other things.
- For your florals, you can either go with have less flowers which will naturally cause you to have a smaller floral budget. Cutting back on the decorative florals and using something else instead will drastically cut back the money allocated to that section of your wedding, in turn, saving you money. If you still want to load your wedding up with florals, choose in season flowers! In season flowers are typically much cheaper than any other option because there is more of an abundance of them.
- Go for DIY options! Using DIY options does not even mean that you have to make everything. You can buy a Polaroid camera and a fun background with a few props for around $100 instead of renting a mobile photo booth for a couple hundred dollars! Doing things like this will greatly reduce the amount of money that you are spending.
Cutting costs seems like a daunting task, but once you figure out what are necessities to your wedding and what are wants, it becomes much easier. Spend some time making a list of what you feel you need and what you feel you just want.
